TESTIMONIALS
Sally came to my home when Dixie, my Norwich Terrier, was 3 months old.
I was worried that Dixie might not be mature enough to take direction.
Boy, was I wrong!! Sally is so professional, the first session she had
her doing a sit!! Since then with the techniques she has taught me and
with her guidance, she has learned all her basic obedience and then some,
her current favorite trick (taught by Sally on her last session) is to
'shake' With Sally's techniques I taught her 'speak', up, off, and
'roll over'. She also learned as her part of basic obedience: sit, stay,
down, leave it, drop it, & come. Overall, my experience with Sally and
in-home training was fabulous. She worked around my schedule, surveyed
my home and outdoor area and gave me personalized direction on how to
potty train my puppy. Dixie is completely potty trained and 'crate'
trained with Sally's help...oh, and did I mention how she's a great
person?? A well trained puppy is a HAPPY puppy :)''

We had a sudden addition, unplanned of course, to our family- Buttons.
We have a 10 year old Rotty mix who just recovered from :Lymphoma,
successfully treated at LSU with Chemo. The last thing we wanted
was a puppy and neither did Lucky (the 10 year old) After two weeks
of agonizing torture- multiple remote controls, bras, pillows, bed
covers etc. We decided we needed help! So we called our Vet and we
got the name of Sally!!!!!!!!!!!
Today, we have harmony- I never thought would happen. Lucky and
Buttons now play, though Lucky has her moments when enough is enough.
See Buttons is part Kangaroo we have determined by the way she leaps
and flies thru the air. Buttons has now learned to adapt and we are
all cohabitating in harmony.
She has also successfully graduated from training from Proper Pooches!
Thanks to Sally!!!!!
She is the best.
At first I had my doubts about some of her methods, but soon found
them to be quite useful without being punitive.
I recommend anybody who wants to have an animal to have them trained.

Hey There,
I just wanted to tell everyone about my family's experience with Sally.
We adopted our Pitt Bull, Pepper, in January. She was just over 3 weeks
old and someone had left her in a ditch. She instantly became our BABY!
The problem was we have a grouchy old man living in our house. He is an
8 year old Schnauzer named Rascal. When Pepper was a baby they got
along pretty good, but before long Pepper was a 50 lb. baby and boy did
things change. We thought we were going to have to get rid of one of them.
It was horrible.
Then we heard about Sally. Talk about a difference. We could see the
change in that first week. She trained Pepper but we also applied those
rules to Rascal as well. Within the month our dogs had gone from fighting
and drawing blood (the Schnauzer would make the Pitt Bull bleed) to getting
along. Granted they don't LOVE each other but they have
learned to
tolerate one another.
This has made our lives so much easier and our
family so much happier. If there is anyone considering hiring Sally
all I can tell you is to do it NOW.
Sally is a great person and a great trainer. She fostered our Delilah when
she
was a newborn and very ill. She nursed her back to health and literally
saved
her life. I've never met another person who cares so deeply about the
wellbeing of dogs. After we adopted Delilah, she 'saved' her again by
training
us to help her behave. :-) Now D's the hit of the neighborhood because of
her
stunning good looks and also her great behavior!
Thank you Sally!

This is from one of our "Students":
Hi Aunt Sally,
I was so glad to see you this week. Guess what, I am sending you one of my baby pictures and next week I will send you one of my big boy pictures.
I have been working with mommy as much as I can but she still doesn’t seem to get it. I have been letting her think that she is teaching me so she won’t feel so bad.
One thing I don’t like is “leave it”. You know what I do Aunt Sally, when she says leave it, I leave it. But when she says take it I don’t. Boy does that ever confuse her. Also I heard you tell her that some puppies turn their head away from “leave it” and that was really cute. So that is what I have been doing. Everyone does seem to think it is really cute.
I can’t wait to see you next Monday.
I love you,
Rico Suave’
I did have the pleasure to watch her "live in action".
She is amazing. Somebody who has the knowledge, the skills,
and the passion.
No matter what your problem, Sally has a solution.
Thanks to Sally, our 4 legged best friend "Jake" is now 100% a member of our family.
